I am finding that we are calmer and happier when we are around flowers. They are also meditative when we take time to pause and look.

Beyond the dominant colour(s) we notice shades, shapes and intricate details. This photograph reproduces what happens when we contemplate. The bokeh becomes a complementary background, the flower turns into an out-of-focus frame, filaments and anthers clues for the eyes leading to the style and stigma.
