Apollo

Three figures stand beneath a row of precisely aligned trees, creating a striking dialogue between sculpture, nature and geometry.

The pale statues immediately draw the eye, their forms contrasting with the darker tones of the surrounding landscape. Behind them, the trees repeat into the distance with almost architectural precision, turning nature itself into a geometric pattern.
I was drawn to the tension between the three figures and their setting: the stillness of the sculptures against the rhythm of the trees, and the human forms against a landscape that appears almost deliberately ordered.

The result is less a straightforward photograph of a classical subject than a study in repetition, balance and contrast.
